Happy Easter/Spring/Candy Day, Ya'll!
We didn't do anything for Easter this year. Usually my sister bakes a couple of breakfast casseroles and we send out e-vites to both sides of our family (Mom's & Dad's) that anyone who wants can stop by from 10am to noon. People sort of trickle in and out, and even though it means I have to get up earlier than I would like, it's still a lot less hectic than our winter gatherings because it isn't 30 people all crowded in at one time. But if you may recall, it was my uncle's turn to host the Christmas thing this year and he couldn't do it, so we stepped in at the last second and threw the whole shindig. I agree with my sister in thinking that means it's cool if we skip Easter breakfast. So just some chillin' for me, I think, and maybe catching up on a few things around here. Now if only I could get rid of this stupid cough.

Now, for your pleasure, this awesome Star Trek Peep Art to make you smile.
Peeps - Star Trek Style
There are also Stripper Peeps, so be sure to check out those and the other awesome pieces of Peep Art, here.

Anyways, I hope you all have an excellent Easter and a remarkably good Sunday!

OMG. Your icon wins Everything. IT'S PEEP!FRODO.

Yeah, the Peep Tribbles were the best of the bunch, for sure! (there was also a recreation of the park bench scene from Hitchcock's The Birds that I rather liked as well).

Happy Easter to you too, darling. (it sounded like you and Shiremom had a nice relaxing day planned!)

The Peep Art was pretty awesome, wasn't it? So much creativity out there. Years ago, my sister made a Peep scene using my dollhouse - it was quite the display, but I don't think I have any pictures of it, sadly.

I watched the latest SPN episode this weekend, which I enjoyed though my friend and I basically ranted through the entire thing about the bad writing (plot holes & major characterization issues). And why haven't Dean and Sam learned to text each other yet? And what about the LODGE -- in KANSAS -- with the BEAR?

Then we watched "The Queen of Versailles," which put me in a really good mood because even though I will never be as rich as those people, I know I will also never be as horrible.

I watched the latest SPN episode this weekend,

I was a little pissed at Sam and Dean during the episode for being like, "These kids shouldn't be hunting! And this is a bad idea!" when I actually think that a school for hunters (or hunter orphans) is a REALLY good idea. You can give them an education, which Dean should know better than anyone how hard it is to stay in school in the lifestyle, and give them peers they can relate to and don't have to keep secrets from since they are all hunters or hunters' kids, and it will give them serious supervised training on how to do the job, since someone will have to do the job when S&D's generation are dead and gone. I didn't know why they immediately thought it was a bad idea.

Of course, then the show had to go make that dude a bad guy which completely disproved my theory that is a good idea in the first place! Dammit.

(okay, I may have come up with a SPN/Angel crossover once where Angel ran a school for hunter-kids out of the hotel and Sam and Dean get jobs teaching there. Uh, so, I had feelings about the episode that actually had very little to do with the show itself. I really should put that plot idea towards the top of my list - it needs to get written already!)

And why haven't Dean and Sam learned to text each other yet?

Right?!! S'up with that, boys?

The Queen of Versailles,"

lol Netflix keeps recommending I watch this but I just can't bring myself to go down that hole. I get pissy watching House Hunters International over people's insane demands for a summer house in Italy.

Love the peep art! Have you seen Peep Research? http://www.peepresearch.org/ it's not got many images, but the write-ups are funny.

Happy Equinox sweetie! And take care of your cough!! No getting sick!

ahahahaha That Peep Research! AWESOME. The like serious-scientific way in which it was presented had me cracking up. The separation of the conjoined quintuplet Peeps! lol

The cough got better. And now it seems to be coming back. Dammit all.
