8,450 words written in April!
A Date In The Life Of Danny Williams - Danny hates Hawaii. He hates the sun and the sand and the stupid surfers. He hates pretty much everything, except Steve McGarrett. In fact, to be honest, Danny is kind of head-over-heels about Steve and he kind of hates that too. - Not gonna lie, I loved writing this fic so much! I loved the HS AU aspect of it and I loved getting inside grumpy-teenage-Danny’s head and I even loved writing Steve’s brand of flirting, which is to purposefully get Danny all riled up. It’s cute and sweet and lovable, like Danny & Steve are.
Only Today - Not actually a fic, but instead a piece of my own poetry, written in the 8th grade, that I put up for National Poetry Month. I remember it being very nerve-wracking to show that side of my writing and that side of myself at first, but the response I got was so lovely and I am really proud that I was brave enough to share what is a very intimate piece.
5 Times Darcy Only Annoyed Agent Coulson A Little Bit - Darcy is Coulson’s assistant. And he is mostly fine with that. Mostly. - I can’t believe that was only a year ago I wrote this fic! It seems like forever ago, like I have been writing Avengers fanfic for years now. But this was, indeed, my first piece of Avengers fic ever. It was surprisingly easy to get inside Darcy’s head and so much fun writing FML-(but-secretly-sweet)-Coulson and I still must point out that the idea to tell Hulk knock-knock jokes belongs to my nephew!
And that was April!
