The Nephew's Impression of Supernatural...
So, I spent the weekend with The Nephew, who remains as cool as ever.

At dinner with my mother, she comments on his new boots. They are work boots - (cutest things that they are like men's work boots in the size of a four year old's feet).

My Mom: Those are cute boots.
The Nephew: Thanks.
Me: They are very Dean Winchester of you.
The Nephew: Yeah.
My Mom: Who? Is he from that Supernatural show?
Me: Yeah.
The Nephew just nods and eats more pancakes.

(Oh yes, we encourage breakfast food for dinner, as one should).

Then the next day, he is playing with his toy TV and he asks my sister what she wants to watch - Spiderman or Supernatural. Of course, she says Supernatural.

So then The Nephew launches into doing the voices for the show.

Baby brother!
What?
We have to kill this ghost!
No, we have to go now.
No, we have to kill this ghost!
No, we have to go.
Ghost!
Go!
Ghost!
Okay, okay. We'll kill the ghost.

dadadadada bang bang

Okay, now we have to go!

For those of you that wonder - yes, both his parents watch the show.

And, yes, he is the coolest kid ever.

In Sum: Here, have the new Narnia trailer. That has nothing to do with this post, but when do I need a reason to post awesome new Narnia trailers? That's what I thought.

No fear! No retreat!

You weird americans... pancakes aren't breakfast food! They're dinner. no doubt about it. Especially when eaten with spinach (okay, its only my family that does that... but pancakes are totally dinner food in my country)

Also your nephew is awesome *sigh* I will tell you about my nephew the amazing artis & final fantasy fan too some day, but not now - I gotta finish up my bigbang post! ♥

Okay, I have to butt in here, I was SO thinking that! Only Americans that thinks of pancakes as breakfast food. It's dinner! And...preferably without spinach...

Well, we have the Denny's and the Waffle House, so I think we Americans think that pancakes are an "anytime of day" food. We used to eat waffles for dinner here at home all the time, but then my sister went on the no-carbs thing and so only when I go out with my mom do I get breakfast for dinner. Well, sometimes we eat scrambled eggs here at home, but I don't like scrambled eggs, so it doesn't count.

I like spinach souffle. But not with my pancakes.

My nephew is awesome. I wrote wee!chester fic and I totally based little Sammy on him, hence my cool new icon. Yes, tell me about your nephew. How old is he?

Bigbang? Art? Wait...the J2 one? I saw the J2 one. Hand porn! <--what? ;)

At this moment, I'd definitely rather watch your nephew's version of Supernatural than Sera Gamble's!
dodger_sister: wee!sammy-alexferris-dodger_sisterdodger_sister on November 17th, 2010 07:52 am (UTC)
I told my sister you said this and she agrees. ;) This is the same kid who decided that zombie aliens could only be killed with a Harry Potter wand...so I think he is pretty damn smart and could totally get a job on SPN! He also has an imaginary dog who he keeps telling me died and then came back as a ghost - so don't be surprised if Sam and Dean suddenly get a ghost dog named "Zoom Zoom". lol

Okay, okay. We'll kill the ghost.
Haha, he totally nailed them! :D And he sounds so cute!!!

Where can I get mine copy of your nephew?
dodger_sister: wee!sammy-alexferris-dodger_sisterdodger_sister on November 17th, 2010 07:55 am (UTC)
heehee - that kid has been raised on SPN! I love that he refers to Sam as "baby brother". I totally stole that for an upcoming fic.

We are looking into cloning him. I'll let you know. ;)

I heart your icon, btw.

I KNOW, I KNOW!!!!!! (I knew if I posted that, that you would freak out all over it, like I did!)

I SAW THE DRAGON!!! AND THE DRAGON'S EYE!!! Reepicheep was omgadorable and awesomecakes!!! Eustace!!!

My fav artist of all time is Michael Hague and I have a book of dragons that takes the best dragon stories and he illustrated them. Eustace is one of them and it is my fav dragon picture - I should see if I can scan it in - (it is kind of a large book though, so it might not work - I'll try just for you!)

AND THE SHIP!!! DID YOU SEE THE SHIP???!!!

I just had to stop typing to clap my hands for a second, seriously!

The music gives me shivers every fucking time. The music sounds like coming home to me!!!

When will it be Christmas?!?!

NARNIA!!!

I WANT TO GO HOME NOW!!!! The music makes me homesick. Is that possible? I told you it was an awesome trailer!

Is it time yet?

Also, everyday I wake up thinking it is Friday and am so excited that you will be here and then it isn't and I am sad. It's happened twice this week. :)

Narnia! Weeee! (I saw the trailer at the cinema yesterday, I'm still all excited about it. Also, have you seen HP 7 pt1?)

You're nephew is still awesome beyond words. I love his take on Sam and Dean.
dodger_sister: wee!sammy-alexferris-dodger_sisterdodger_sister on November 22nd, 2010 05:12 am (UTC)
I was the only person in the whole theater who clapped for the Narnia trailer. Those heathens!!

I think my nephew has pretty much summed up the whole of the show. Sam and Dean arguing and killing ghosts and then running away. Also, dadadada bang bang. heehee

Your nephew is the coolest kid ever (well, outside my own of course). I love his version of Supernatural. And the boots! Wee little work boots ftw!

And Narnia! woohoo! It looks so damn pretty. I bet the 3d looks awesome.
dodger_sister: wee!sammy-alexferris-dodger_sisterdodger_sister on November 22nd, 2010 05:17 am (UTC)
My nephew is the coolest, thank you!

Little kid shoes are the cutest, but it was so adorable how they were like serious work boots for a four year old. Of course, his had bright red shoelaces and that is something I have never seen Dean Winchester do - (though now I am picturing it everytime we get a shot of his boots - Dean with red shoelaces).

I am so excited about Narnia! I am def seeing it on the IMAX, idk about the 3D. I would love to, but it is expensive and hard to get tickets for. I hope to see it opening night, but since The BFF has to work in the morning, I will probably have to wait until the next day. But definitely seeing it on the IMax for sure. It is my fav of the Narnia books, so expect a lot of pre-movie hand clapping and running around like a nut job, lol.
